Disabled people often face major life changes without access to accessible information, guidance, or support. Complex systems, communication barriers, and limited opportunities for self-advocacy can impact on decisions about relationships, employment, housing, and services. These challenges have been exacerbated by cuts to local authority budgets, resulting in reduced support packages and increasing pressure on disabled people to find alternative ways to meet their needs.
By providing personalised, one-to-one support for disabled people facing significant life changes. Working alongside each individual, we help them understand their options, explore and communicate their wishes, build confidence, develop life skills, and navigate complex systems such as education, housing, employment and social care. By strengthening self-advocacy, we enable people to make informed decisions, take greater control of their lives, and achieve the outcomes that matter most to them.
