The Eikon charity is helping young people in Surrey to feel safe, heard and supported. We listen, talk and help them with the skills and confidence they need to thrive and live their best life. We work with families, carers and professionals to make sure everyone gets the support they need.

Growing up today can be challenging. Currently 1 in 5 children have a mental health concern yet the need and complexity are rising with 1 in 4 predicted to be struggling by 2030. Across Surrey, children are telling us they feel overwhelmed: heightened anxiety, loneliness, academic stress and social expectations. As pressures on mental health services intensify the focus has moved towards managing crises. This has limited innovation. Children should not have to hit crisis before getting help.
At Eikon we deliver practical preventative support to improve wellbeing and resilience. We create safe spaces where children can turn to, be themselves and share their concerns. We listen and work alongside them to find the confidence, strategies and tools they need to overcome their challenges. By doing this as soon as problems emerge, we prevent poor mental health from developing and deteriorating into a crisis. We work across Surrey in schools (primary and secondary) communities and online.
