Time with the people we love is life’s greatest gift. Yet, today in the UK, over 49,000 families are needlessly facing their first Christmas without someone they love. Cardiovascular disease took them too soon. These deaths were preventable. High cholesterol is a major cause of cardiovascular disease. Around half of UK adults are living with high cholesterol and most don’t have the advice, support or treatment they need to protect their heart and live well.

HEART UK is fighting to stop preventable deaths from high cholesterol. We strive for everyone to know, understand and manage their cholesterol. Because no one should die from preventable cardiovascular disease. Christmas donations will help raise awareness, increase testing and diagnosis. Donations will also provide trusted information, treatment guidance and specialist support to the public, free of charge.
