Bristol is facing a growing youth homelessness crisis, driven by rising rents, a shortage of affordable housing and the cost-of-living crisis. Youth homelessness in the city rose by 59% last year, while referrals to Caring in Bristol have increased by 65% since 2021. Young people facing homelessness are at greater risk of exploitation, violence, poor mental health and long-term instability, yet there is a shortage of age-appropriate emergency accommodation and support.

Open 7 days a week all year, our night shelter will provide young people with immediate safety and stability. Many young people arrive having already slept rough or experienced other forms of homelessness. Alongside accommodation, we deliver holistic, trauma-reflective wraparound support tailored to individuals. Our innovative model is one of only two in the UK to combine emergency shelter with intensive support, helping young people secure housing, access services and build independence.
