Winter and the festive period can be a lonely time for many, especially for learning disabled and autistic young people. Help provide vulnerable 11–17 year-olds with a warm, safe space where they can feel a sense of belonging, develop skills, and access support from trusted youth workers.

Learning disabled and autistic young people and their support networks are disproportionately isolated, lack access to inclusive activities, and are restricted from building the skills necessary for fulfilling lives. This is supported by national statistics; research from the charity Sense found that 70% of disabled young people aged 16-24 are experiencing chronic loneliness, and two in three disabled people feel invisible to society. Your support enables them to be seen, valued, and heard.

With a programme offer entirely shaped by the interests and needs of our members, and led by trained youth workers, Caxton Youth provides a warm and inclusive space which gives learning disabled and autistic people access to the skills, community, and support needed to help break the barriers they face. Our programmes include: Journey to Employment, Health and Getting Active, Creative Futures, Changemakers for Social Action, Independence, and Social and Emotional Wellbeing.
