Have you heard of a Togo slippery frog? Okapi? Bonobo? How about hirola or mountain bongo? They might be less celebrated than elephant, lion or rhino, but these critically endangered species are equally vital to the planet’s ecosystem. Help us raise funds to protect the hidden species of Africa.

Endemic to the Ghana-Togo border, fewer than 250 Togo slippery frogs can be found. Similar for East African dugong in coastal waters. No more than 100 mountain bongo exist in the wild, solely in Kenya. These, and many other lesser-known species are just as critical to Africa’s ecosystem as those that children regularly learn about. We must reverse this trend of decline by celebrating these unsung endangered species so that, in the future, children might have the chance to learn about them too.
