Nearly one million people in the UK live with dementia, most remaining at home. After diagnosis, many experience isolation, reduced confidence, loss of identity, and declining wellbeing. Yet people can live well with dementia for many years. Access to creative activities and supportive peer networks helps maintain confidence, connection, and quality of life, enabling continued community participation while challenging stigma and highlighting the strengths and creativity of people with dementia.

We address the challenges of early-stage dementia through high-quality creative workshops that help people connect, create, and thrive. Funding will enable us to expand our established programme into more London boroughs, reaching people with limited access to dementia-friendly arts activities. By increasing workshop provision, we will reduce waiting lists and ensure more people can access meaningful support, social connection, and creative opportunities when and where they need them.
