The Simon Community supports people facing entrenched rough sleeping, trauma and exclusion. We offer street outreach, food, companionship and a long-term therapeutic community where people can find safety, belonging and time to rebuild their lives.

Standard homelessness services do not suit everyone & rough sleeping is rarely solved by accommodation alone. Many people we support have experienced trauma, exclusion, poor mental health, broken relationships & repeated rejection from mainstream services. Some have no recourse to public funds. Without patient, relational support, people can remain stuck on the streets or isolated after being housed. Simon offers the safety, consistency & community people need to breathe & live a full life.
Simon provides practical street support delivered by those living in our long-term therapeutic community. Our West End outreach offers food, drink, conversation & trusted relationships to people sleeping rough. At 129 Malden Rd, residents, staff and volunteers live & work as a community, sharing meals, meetings & responsibilities as well as organising the outreach work themselves. This gives people time, belonging & purposeful activity, helping them recover from trauma & reconnect with others.
