Children, young people and adults with SEND have enormous creativity and potential, but too often face barriers to participating in arts and creative activities. A lack of accessible provision, specialist resources and affordable opportunities can limit confidence, communication, social connection and self-expression. We want everyone to have the chance to develop their creativity, tell their stories and feel included, regardless of their additional needs.

We will provide welcoming, accessible creative opportunities for children, young people and adults with SEND. Through participating in creative projects, like Story Inventors, a story making workshop, our Growing Stories nature journaling project, a project mixing gardening activities with journaling, and by expanding our employability programmes, participants will develop confidence, creativity and connection. Funding will support accessible resources, sensory equipment and tailored delivery.
