Nearly 29 million children in East and Southern Africa are living with a disability. These children are four times more likely to experience physical violence or sexual assault, and twice as likely to never attend school. Despite decades of work since the ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Convention of the Right of Persons with Disabilities, children with disabilities continue to be excluded, discounted and discriminated against in all walks of life.

We aim to be the leading voice for the inclusion of children and young people with disabilities across Africa and we're dedicated to putting them at the heart of solutions. We do this by: •Building inclusive child protection systems •Demanding inclusive sexual and reproductive health rights •Strengthening inclusive Early Childhood Development •Advancing inclusive education •Promoting inclusive mental health & wellbeing •Raising the voices of children with disabilities
