Children living around the dumpsites of Manila face poverty that no child should carry. Education is their passport out of poverty but they need help to remain in school. Your donations will help provide educational opportunities that every child deserves but is denied to these children.

A future out of the grinding poverty and horrendous conditions of the dumpsite is a massive challenge for these vulnerable children. Failure in the state educational system is endemic in the population, children drop out of school, many needing to work to meet the family's basic needs. With no money available even for basic necessities, the costs of going to school become impossible to meet. Other children have nowhere safe to live and need sanctuary to be able to survive and go to school.
Our approach is personal, consistent and long-term. We do not simply give short-term aid. We walk with children and families over many years. Children are provided with a range of support to help them achieve their potential. A free school for 4-6 year olds, giving them the head start necessary to succeed in main stream education. A scholarship scheme for 6-25yrs to stay in education instead of dropping out to work including a Saturday school with food. And a residential home for for safe care.
