At White Lodge, we believe inclusion should not stop at our front door, yet accessible and reliable transport remains a significant barrier to community participation. Demand for community activities is growing, but limited access to suitable wheelchair-accessible vehicles restricts opportunities. Without reliable transport, disabled children, young people and adults can miss out on developing independence, building friendships and participating fully in community life.

Accessible transport will enable White Lodge to expand the community inclusion opportunities we already deliver. Funding will support the leasing and operation of a fully wheelchair-accessible minibus, alongside driver recruitment, training and coordination, creating a sustainable transport network. Through Driving Inclusion, disabled and neurodivergent children, young people and adults will access education, wellbeing, social and community opportunities beyond our services.
