Hope at Home addresses the shortage of safe, supportive housing for survivors of modern slavery in the UK. Currently, there are over 24,000 survivors of modern slavery who are in the early stages of recovery from exploitation and face homelessness and an increased risk of re-exploitation because suitable accommodation is unavailable or inaccessible. Our housing programmes provide stability, safety and support, enabling survivors to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
We work alongside every person coming to Hope at Home to help them understand their housing rights and explore their options. We offer both supported housing and a volunteer hosting scheme. Where hosted accommodation is the right choice, trained volunteer hosts provide a safe, welcoming home, while supported housing offers greater independence. Combined with specialist support, our services help survivors of modern slavery recover, rebuild confidence and move towards independent living.
