At Acosta Dance Foundation, we believe in the transformational power dance can have in a person’s life. Without access to these cultural opportunities, people miss out on ways to connect with others and support their physical and mental wellbeing. For aspiring dancers, lack of support can also mean lost chances to train, grow and build a foundation for a career in dance.
Acosta Dance Foundation solves this problem in two ways: by widening access to dance through free and low-cost education and community programmes, and by lowering barriers for aspiring dancers and choreographers through tuition-free training, mentoring, studio space and performance opportunities. Together, this helps people experience dance's benefits while supporting talented young artists to build a future in the profession.
