We are living in polarising times where people’s views are easily entrenched and opponents demonised and where it can feel hard to know who or what to trust. Most people want to have good relationships in their communities but can find it hard to know how to connect with others, especially those with different backgrounds, lifestyles or perspectives. We know that relational and restorative approaches, including listening and dialogue, can help!

For 9 years we’ve helped people in Oxford and beyond to connect better, ‘disagree well’ and respond to harm with healing by nurturing curiosity, empathy and practical skills in relationship building/repair. We want to take this work to the next level by growing our network of community-based restorative practice champions, working with them to offer more spaces for listening and dialogue plus more training, support and creative resources, reaching wide and deep into communities.
