Impact areas
Wolverhampton faces high levels of homelessness, poverty and inequality. Many people experience food insecurity, poor mental health, addiction, financial hardship and social isolation, often alongside insecure housing. Rising living costs and pressure on public services are increasing demand for support, leaving vulnerable people at greater risk of crisis, exclusion and long-term disadvantage
Good Shepherd provides meals, showers, clothing and help to find emergency accommodation. From there, our team offers ongoing support with housing, mental health, employment and other challenges. We also run groups and activities that help people build confidence, make connections and take positive steps towards a brighter future. We deliver services in a way that makes people feel valued and that their voices are heard and have influence.
