We are raising funds to deliver vital advice services and community activities for Chinese residents in Oxfordshire, especially non-English speaking, vulnerable older people, helping them access services/benefits, reduce social isolation, improve physical/mental wellbeing and integrate into society.

Many Chinese residents in Oxfordshire, especially non-English speaking, vulnerable older people, face language and cultural barriers that prevent access to essential services and benefits. This leads to financial hardship, social isolation and poorer physical and mental health.
We will deliver: (1) trilingual drop-in advice and advocacy; (2) regular cultural, educational and well-being activities including festivals, crafts, exercise, and English classes; and (3) facilitated access to mainstream local services and partner organisations. Together, these services reduce isolation, build confidence and improve access to support.
