We support people with cancer and their families to live as well as possible. Across four London Maggie’s Centres, we offer free support from 1:1 sessions to group and family programmes plus virtual help for parents, children and carers with the Ruth Strauss Foundation, so no one faces cancer alone.

A cancer diagnosis affects every part of life for individuals and their families. It impacts wellbeing, relationships, parenting, finances and more. With 3 million people living with cancer in the UK (rising to 4 million by 2030), needs go beyond NHS care. Maggie’s fills this gap, and through our partnership with the Ruth Strauss Foundation, we provide enhanced cancer support for the whole family, both in person and online so no one faces cancer alone.
Maggie’s provides free, expert cancer support at every stage, including dedicated help for families, carers and friends across our London centres. We offer psychological support, benefits advice, practical advice, family-focused programmes and peer support. Through the Ruth Strauss Foundation, we extend this virtually with tailored 1:1 and group support for parents, partners and children, helping families navigate the emotional and practical impact of cancer.
