We aim to raise £75,000 towards the cost of fuel for our air ambulance helicopter. Rising fuel costs make operations increasingly challenging, while demand remains constant. Your support will help keep us flying and responding rapidly to critically ill and injured people across Wiltshire and Bath.

In an emergency, every second counts. Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity provides rapid, critical care across Wiltshire and Bath, but this vital service relies on large volumes of aviation fuel. We fly around 375 hours each year, consuming significant fuel to reach patients quickly. Due to global factors, we have seen fuel costs rise sharply; funding this essential resource is increasingly challenging and puts pressure on charitable income needed to sustain operations.

Your support will help us cover the rising cost of keeping our helicopter flying. In 2025 we spent £63,000 on fuel, and this year we project this cost to increase by an additional £75,000. Achieving this ambitious target will help us to respond rapidly across Wiltshire and Bath, reaching patients quickly and enabling our doctors and paramedics to deliver lifesaving care when time is critical.
