As a hospice, we provide high-quality, compassionate care to adults, children and families living with life-limiting conditions, at no cost to patients. But we also provide the gift of memory; both making special memories while a loved one is alive and helping memories to live on beyond their death.

The free care we give to adults and children with life-limiting illness costs over £7m per year, of which only 18% is government funded. But to truly make each day count for our patients, our care must be so much more than clinical. Its holistic nature encompasses a broad spectrum of activities which make the most of every moment. We support patients to experience the fun, joy and laughter they deserve towards the end of their lives, whilst creating memories for loved ones that last a lifetime.
As the cost of services continues to rise, it is imperative that we try to build and nurture new fundraising relationships with the public and corporate partners, ensuring that we can retain the holistic aspects of our care alongside our core clinical services By participating in the Big Give, we aim to spread awareness of the range, quality and nature of care that we offer, raising our profile and encouraging new and existing donors to give generously to our cause.
