Our vision is that everyone in Nottinghamshire has the opportunity to die at home. Our Hospice in your Home service makes that possible. With your support we’ll provide free end-of-life care in patients’ own homes, so this Christmas and beyond, they can spend their final days with their loved ones.

Most people would choose to be at home at the end-of-life, in a place that is familiar, comfortable and peaceful. In Nottinghamshire only 50% of people die at home. Without support, the end of life can be distressing and undignified. Families can become exhausted, their last days together consumed with caring responsibilities rather than making the most of these final moments. Last year, we cared for 1 in 4 people who died in Nottinghamshire. Our aim is to care for everyone who needs us.
With your support, our Hospice in your Home service can support patients at home with 1-to-1 care, managing symptoms and treating them with the dignity they deserve. Our experienced team provide tailored care based on the needs of individual patients. Our Roaming Service responds to calls and visits patients, especially during the night when other NHS services reduce, so that patients don’t have to be in discomfort or have the distress of an emergency hospital admission.
