As the cost-of-living crisis rises, so does the animal welfare crisis, Hope Rescue centre must remain open to save the hundreds of dogs who need support this winter. We exist to provide a safe alternative to abandonment and neglect. We also aim to educate owners in good dog ownership and provide help and support to those owners who are struggling. Winter brings its own challenges, with sick, abandoned dogs suffering the most in the extreme cold.
Hope Rescue provide a safe place for dogs to be brought to when found straying, ensuring every dog is given what they need to have the second chance they deserve. This includes food and shelter, but also any medical treatment they require, behaviour rehabilitation and ultimately match the dog with a suitable owner. Keeping the centre open 365 days a year is essential to ensure that dogs can be supported as quickly and efficiently as possible.
