LWA support those who have suffered domestic abuse and/or sexual violence by providing a lifeline. We organise immediate refuge accommodation, provide starter packs of essential items and support with things like police statements, court cases, social services, counselling, education and more

High demand on LWA services for both adults and children, which is leading to long waiting lists, at a time when victims are at their most vulnerable.
We will increase the capacity in our volunteer programme to enable us to provide support quicker and to more people. In order to do this we need to fund recruitment drives and additional training for new volunteers.
