Too many people in Worcestershire experience loneliness, poor mental health and barriers to taking part in arts and heritage because of poverty, ill health, disability, age or forced displacement. Demand from our community partners continues to grow. Without accessible, welcoming creative opportunities, many people remain isolated, lose confidence and miss the proven wellbeing benefits of social connection, creativity and cultural participation.

We will deliver Clay Connections, a welcoming programme of creative workshops inspired by Worcester's porcelain heritage. Working with trusted community partners, we will bring together older people, neurodiverse participants, refugees and children experiencing isolation as well as school groups. Participants will build new skills, confidence & friendships and enjoy a facilitated Museum tour with pottery painting. "These sessions helped lift my mood and gave me a reason to get out."
