We provide residential care and community support for disadvantaged children in Nakuru, Kenya. We're raising funds to build safe new bedrooms and bathrooms. Our current ageing buildings will later be repurposed as community spaces, offices and activity areas, ensuring nothing goes to waste.

Our residential buildings are ageing, they are no longer fit-for-purpose and urgently need replacing. After extensive planning with architects, engineers and surveyors, our project is ready to begin. As a small charity run by volunteers, we lack dedicated fundraising capacity to raise the remaining funds. We now need your help to raise £20,000 to provide electrics, plumbing and sanitation facilities for our new building, giving every child the safe, dignified home they deserve.

Wherever possible, we work to reunite children with their families, for others, The St Jerome's Centre remains their home until they reach independence. With your support, we will build safe new bedrooms, bathrooms and communal spaces for up to 30 children, creating a purpose-built home for those who need it most, where they can feel secure and thrive. Reaching our target for The Big Give Christmas Challenge could help make this vision a reality.
