This Christmas, Amelia's Rainbow Dorset children's charity delivers festive magic to children with serious illnesses, disabilities and additional needs. Funds will provide inclusive, safe events and specialised elf home visits for isolated youth and sibling carers across Dorset.

Children with serious illnesses, complex conditions, and disabilities are deeply isolated during the holidays. Due to medical, accessibility and income barriers, traditional festive experiences are completely out of reach. Often families can't afford public events and when they do these children often face ostracisation and feel painfully different. A lack of inclusive opportunities can leave youngsters and their families feeling excluded, unseen, and disadvantaged.
We solve this by creating accessible festive magic through three core initiatives. First, our Toy Appeal projects has teams of elves who deliver gifts directly to the homes of hundreds of children. Second, we host tailored Christmas events in safe, inclusive environments where children feel nurtured and accepted. Finally, we fund tickets, days out and holidays to expand these festive opportunities, ensuring no child is excluded to their complex medical needs.
