Apollo Music Projects brings the magic of live music to children who might not otherwise experience it. We work with primary and special schools in disadvantaged parts of London, transforming children’s lives and enhancing their wellbeing through our programme of interactive workshops and concerts.

Many children do not get to experience the joy of live music and this is especially true of children from disadvantaged backgrounds with little to no access to high quality art and culture. Listening to and learning about live classical music can help children in so many ways: as well as developing skills such as concentration and creativity, children can discover new passions and expand their horizons. Most importantly, it enhances children’s wellbeing.

We will partner with schools in underserved parts of London to reach over 1,900 children through our unique approach to music education. We work with children across two terms to nurture an exceptional depth of engagement as they explore their creative potential and develop new skills. Each child enjoys six interactive classroom workshops, a chamber orchestra workshop at a special cultural venue, a pre-concert visit from the conductor and a thrilling symphony orchestra concert at Hackney Empire.
