At Future Youth Zone, we empower disadvantaged young people to reach their full potential. This winter, we're raising funds to keep membership affordable and ensure all young people can access our safe youth centre, fun activities, nutritious hot meals, and the support of our dedicated youth workers

Young people at Future face complex, intersecting challenges: 60% live in high deprivation, 50% receive free school meals, and over 100 are young carers. With nearly half of children in Barking and Dagenham growing up in poverty, too many are excluded from safe spaces, activities and opportunities that support their health, wellbeing and future. As the cost-of-living crisis deepens, those facing the greatest disadvantage are left furthest behind. Affordable, inclusive support is vital.

Future Youth Zone gives young people somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to. We believe when young people are empowered, they can shape brighter futures for themselves and their community. Our proven youth work model combines safe spaces, positive activities, hot meals, and trusted relationships to reduce isolation, tackle food insecurity, and improve wellbeing. Together, these efforts raise aspirations and help young people lead healthier, happier lives.
