We’re raising £40,000 to deliver 200 fully funded training places to young drivers and riders in 2027. This includes two Youth Skills Days at Thruxton Circuit (80 places) and refresher sessions across the UK (120 places), helping them build confidence, improve safety, and reduce risk on our roads.

Young drivers and riders remain disproportionately involved in serious road collisions in the UK. In 2024, people aged 17-29 accounted for approximately a quarter of fatalities and casualties on Great Britain’s roads. Factors like financial barriers, inexperience, and limited access to high-quality refresher training increase risk across all road users. Without continuous targeted intervention, preventable incidents will continue to impact individuals, families, and communities across the UK.

We will deliver expert-led, practical training to people aged 17-26 through a combination of two exclusive Youth Skills Days (one for drivers and one for riders) on a traffic-free circuit and one-to-one driving/riding refresher courses across the UK. Using qualified instructors and the proven Roadcraft system, participants will develop hazard awareness, decision-making, and confidence on the road, all in a supportive environment tailored to individual needs, ensuring lasting behavioural change.
