WEST Youth Zone will provide a safe, warm and affordable space for young people to go this winter - a time when many spend more time alone at home and household bills hit a high. Open 7 days a week, WEST helps young people connect, access support, and take part in positive activities.

Over half of young people in the UK spend most of their free time in their bedrooms. Located in Hammersmith & Fulham, a diverse, densely populated borough with striking disparities in household income, WEST was established in response to a clear, ongoing demand for more high-quality spaces for young people in West London. This need becomes even more acute in winter months, when access to warm, safe, welcoming, and affordable places is essential to reducing isolation and supporting wellbeing.
During the winter period, when shorter days, rising living costs, and increased social isolation can have an even greater impact on families, WEST will provide a warm, safe, affordable, and welcoming space for young people 7 days a week. A diverse programme of activities will provide a positive alternative to spending free time isolated at home and WEST will remove barriers to participation through low-cost access helping young people get active, build confidence, and feel a sense of belonging.
