That doesn't stop at Christmas, when our wonderful team sacrifice time with their loved ones, to support others when they need it most. We need your help to cover the cost of care this Christmas.

The final days, weeks and months of someone's life provide an opportunity to make final memories with those who matter most to them. This is even more important during key dates and celebrations such as Christmas. Every day we provide palliative and end-of-life care to patients living in the Wigan borough, caring for them at home and in our 14-bed Inpatient Unit. Our services are free of charge but are not without cost. Every day we need to raise £13,000 to keep our vital services running.
Wigan & Leigh Hospice supports patients to live well for as long as possible. We take a holistic, patient-centred approach, which gives the patient the opportunity to say how they would like to be cared for, providing dignity, comfort and support when it is needed most. Our hospice services are available 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year, focusing on delivering the right care, in the right place, at the right time. This enables our patients to make the most of the time they have with loved ones.
