Sudanese and Palestinian mothers arriving in Egypt after fleeing conflict often lack access to healthcare, nutrition and essential baby supplies. Many have experienced trauma, interrupted medical care and severe financial hardship. Babies born in displacement face greater risks of illness, malnutrition and poor development. Without support, mothers and infants face significant health risks during the most critical stage of life.

Through Goodwill Caravan’s Sallam Centre in Cairo, we provide antenatal and postnatal care, newborn health checks, nutritional support, baby essentials and mental health support for displaced Sudanese and Palestinian mothers. We also offer parenting guidance and referrals to specialist healthcare services, helping mothers and babies access the care they need for a healthy start in life.
