14,900 children in our area are sexually abused every single year. Each young survivor and every parent supporting them face a journey that no one should have to travel: a journey to heal from trauma and rebuild hope for the future. Before starting their journey with us, young people struggle with flashbacks (76%), trouble sleeping (74%), and symptoms of PTSD (92%). Sadly most children don’t access any support at all, and face this journey alone, in silence, with no one by their side.

In the years ahead we will walk alongside 1000 more children, young people, parents and carers, on their journey towards hope and healing. Guided by the shining light of survivor voice and and bringing in parents, professionals and the wider community to help young survivors along their journey, we will offer holistic support for each young person’s unique path and light the way for more young survivors to step forward for support.
