We are seeking funding to support our Ensemble of Storytellers model, breaking down barriers to access, dismantling traditional stage hierarchies, and championing diverse careers for the next generation of opera talent. Intimate in Scale. Mighty in Impact.

We are solving three issues: traditional divides separating instrumentalists from the onstage theatrical narrative; outdated training models limiting career sustainability (CIPED, 2025); and the need for flexible chamber-scale models which protect high artistic standards. While opera’s audience demographics remain narrow (ACE, 2024), clear public demand exists for more intimate productions and non-traditional formats, in order to reach broader and younger audiences (LOT, 2025).
Our ensemble model dismantles hierarchical performance structures by developing the dramatic skill sets of instrumentalists and placing them on stage with singers as equal narrative forces. We equip all artists with transferable skills for multi-dimensional careers, and by touring intimate, chamber-scale opera to venues across the UK, including studio theatres, community venues and schools, we bring affordable, musically excellent performances directly to younger, and more diverse audiences.
