Many communities in Ghana still lack reliable electicity, limiting access to healthcare, education, water and livelihoods. Farmers often depend on costly fuel for irrigation, off-grid households have few safe energy options and many young people lack access to practical solar skills and pathways into green jobs. We are addressing both the energy gap and the skills gap by equipping people to use solar power to solve real local challenges.
We deliver practical solar training in rural communities, schools and universities, helping people build the skills to use solar in farming, homes and local services. Participants can apply to our Community Solar Fund to tackle local challenges with community-led solar projects, backed by Dream Renewables’ funding and technical support. We also run an entrepreneurship bootcamp to help turn promising ideas into solar businesses.
