Your kindness will feed 50,000 people each week by enabling us to rescue and redistribute 6,000,000 meals worth of good food - surplus that companies would otherwise waste because it cannot be sold (e.g., due to oversupply, short shelf life, packaging errors).

Food insecurity affects around 600,000 people across Yorkshire each year, yet only 1% of all edible surplus food reaches those who need it. Our food system makes it far easier to waste good food than to redistribute it – and that structural failure leaves hundreds of thousands of people without the support they might otherwise have. That gap – between good food going to waste and people going without – is the challenge we exist to close.
Our vision is a Yorkshire where communities thrive because good food is saved and shared. Hundreds of Yorkshire-based organisations like hospices, shelters, soup kitchens, refuges, food pantries, breakfast clubs rely heavily on surplus food to deliver their crucial work.
