People are dying and are lives are shattered by addiction and the harm it causes to the individual, to families and the wider community, and people don't know where to access support. 20% of adults and 35% of 18-24 year olds have used illegal drugs in the last year in Brighton and Hove, and we have double the national average deaths from alcohol and drug misuse. Addiction is leading to serious impacts on crime, policing and anti social behaviour in our city.

Kennedy Street delivers a structured recovery programme to help people navigate treatment options, receive lived experience informed mentoring, access recovery workshops to give people the tools and learning to stay on track with their recovery, and receive 121 support to plan goals, access volunteering and to learn new skills, to help them thrive in the long term. We help people into recovery, give them the tools to stay well, and work with them to rebuild their lives stronger.
