Kairos tackles the impact of sexual exploitation on women and the inequalities that perpetuate it, including poverty, homelessness and male violence. The women we support often experience trauma, substance use, poor mental health and involvement with the criminal justice system. Without specialist, long-term support, many remain trapped in cycles of crisis and harm, unable to find safety, recover from harm, or build hopeful futures.
Kairos works alongside women subjected to sexual exploitation through trauma-informed support and advocacy. We build trusted relationships and provide holistic support with housing, health, substance use, safety and justice needs. By restoring dignity, increasing opportunities and strengthening autonomy, we help women move towards safer, more independent lives, recognising that recovery is rarely linear and requires consistent, long-term support.
