With donor support we hope to empower children and young people across the region, and beyond, to access outdoor education, by turning "Can I?" in to an "I can". Regardless of a child's ability or background with your help we hope to unlock children's potential to thrive in the outdoors!

In 2025–26, 60% of the 6,000 children and young people who visited our centre faced disadvantage, making them more likely to miss out on opportunities and the chance to experience childhood fully. Many rarely leave their estates, lack safe green spaces to play, or face financial or physical barriers to outdoor experiences. We believe outdoor education is vital for children's health, happiness and development, so we part-fund places for those who could not otherwise attend.

Our charity removes barriers to outdoor education because we believe it is vital for every child's development. We are the only outdoor education centre in our region providing residential experiences for children with disabilities. Our "I Can" campaign, we raise funds to subsidise places for children who could not otherwise attend. £100 raised covers up to 50% of the cost of a three-day stay, giving many children their first trip away from home and their first chance not to be left behind.
