Many end up in remote areas or overcrowded camps where shelter, food and healthcare are scarce. Children lose safety and stability. Parents struggle to protect their families. Until it is safe to return home, these families need urgent support. They must not be forgotten.
HART helps families at every stage of displacement. First, we help them survive by providing shelter, food and healthcare and other emergency support through trusted local partners. Then we help families rebuild their lives through education, livelihoods and community support while they remain displaced. We also speak up for people forced from their homes, defending their right to return safely and with dignity when conflict ends.
