Demand for mental health support for young people continues to increase and NHS resources cannot meet the demand - up to 5yr waiting list for CAMHS.Most can't afford private counselling. Our counsellors are seeing increasingly complex MH issues which require in-person and/or on-line counselling support. On average we have 100 young people on our waiting list and 14 referrals a week. The parents of those with MH issues also need strategies and support.Last year we supported over 700 young people.

We provide FREE Mental Health support which enables the young in our community to fully engage with school, work and their community in a positive and sustainable way, 90% of those we supported would recommend us to friends and 83% felt more positive.Last year we provided 8000+ counselling sessions supporting over 742 young people and parents. Our aim is to increase the number of counselling sessions to support more people and try to assess everyone referred to us within 2 weeks of referral.
