Christmas should bring joy, not suffering. Yet the 50 million people in modern slavery are. Exploitation throughout the UK increases during the holidays, as children are used to transport drugs to meet demand. This Christmas, help us shine a light and create a world where no one is bought or sold.

The gifts we give at Christmas often come with a hidden cost: children across the world are mining cobalt for tech, working in supply chains to sew clothes, and harvesting cocoa for chocolate. Closer to home, throughout the UK, children are exploited in drug trafficking, with criminal networks taking advantage of increased travel, demand, and cash flow during the holiday season. Behind the sparkle of the Christmas season lies darkness, but together, we can shine a light.
At STOP THE TRAFFIK, we are disrupting the business model of human trafficking by making it too high-risk and low-profit to succeed. We've built a model to prevent vulnerable people from being exploited. In the past three years, our programmes have prevented 4,188 individuals from being exploited. In 2027, we’re focused on preventing child criminal and sexual exploitation, as well as sexual exploitation of women across the UK. This Christmas, help us to shine a light on human trafficking.
