Age UK Waltham Forest Information & Advice services address poverty, financial insecurity, isolation & barriers to support faced by older people & carers. Many struggle with the rising cost of living, housing, benefits &accessing services. Between April 2024 - March 2025, we advised 1,411 individuals on 6,369 matters & helped secure £2,309,894.60 in previously unclaimed benefits. We signpost clients to our Digital Support Team, helping older people build digital skills, access online services.

We will provide free, confidential Information & Advice services for older people & carers in East London. Our trained advisers support people with accessing welfare benefits, increase their incomes, support health & wellbeing, helping them access information & remain independent. We also connect clients to our Digital Support Team to improve digital confidence & Befriending Service to reduce isolation. We hold the Advice Providers Quality Mark & Age UK Information & Advice Quality Programme.
