Children shape what comes next. 75% of Kenya’s population is under 35, the future of entire communities depends on whether children can access education today. Yet in Bwayi, children are still missing school because they cannot afford transport, are forced to walk relentless and dangerous routes, or arrive exhausted and unable to learn in overcrowded classrooms. When children miss out on education, they miss out on opportunity, and the cycle of poverty continues.
It all starts with a seat in the classroom. With your support, COCO will build a two-room classroom block, giving children a safe place to learn close to home. More than a building, it will protect potential by removing barriers like distance, danger and poverty.
