We want to raise funds to allow us to continue to support vulnerable families living in Guildford Borough. We offer support in different ways: by training volunteers to work with families one to one, offering specialist support from trained staff, and holding various family groups.

The early years are critical for brain development and lifelong outcomes and parents’ wellbeing directly shapes a child’s development. Without support, families with young children can face isolation, poor mental health and overwhelming pressures which can harm child development, limit school readiness, and impact the children’s long-term outcomes. Many families lack trusted, early help and risk crisis intervention if difficulties escalate.

We provide early intervention through trained volunteers, offering tailored support with regular home visits and emotional and practical support. We also offer different family support groups, including activities such as fitness classes and swimming. We build parents’ confidence, reduce isolation and help families access services. Our personal and non-judgemental support strengthens relationships and improves outcomes for young children, strengthening families and preventing crisis.
