We provide safe & compassionate peer support & therapy to women when it matters most: during pregnancy, birth & postnatally; after pregnancy loss, baby loss &/or birth trauma; following gender based violence. Our work transforms access to specialist healthcare & support, enabling women to thrive.

Impact areas
We support vulnerable, disadvantaged women at greatest risk of poor healthcare due to their ethnicity, immigration status &/or living in areas of deprivation. 1 in 4 women experience Maternal Mental Health issues with women in deprived boroughs 2X more likely to die in childbirth. Our support overcomes barriers to healthcare & support (e.g. language, emotional barriers, isolation, mistrust of professionals, racism & stereotyping, violence & abuse) whilst advocating for women's choices & rights.
Our work is led by women’s lived experiences. Through person centred care, advocacy & community partnerships, we build women's knowledge & confidence to make informed choices & to take ownership of their health & wellbeing. We deliver 3 core programmes: Maternity Mates (1:1 support by highly trained volunteers during pregnancy/birth/postnatally); Her Health (1:1 Health advocacy for survivors of FGM); Healing Conversations (1:1 & group peer support (supported by volunteers) & Trauma Counselling).
