H@H staff support patients with life limiting illnesses, such as Cancer, Frailty & MND. Whose choice is to remain at home knowing their symptoms will be managed & they will be comfortable. We give family a much-needed break, alleviating caregiver fatigue & fostering a sense of wellbeing. The specialized nursing care & respite we provide is invaluable allowing families to enjoy quality time together. We're expanding our reach to support more local families facing this challenging journey
H@H team need to grow to provide more families access to high quality individualised nursing and respite care. This provision applies to any adult with a life limiting illness, whose wish it is to die at home. The Registered Nurses work closely with local GPs, specialist palliative and district nurses, we can respond at short notice to provide nursing care or respite over a period of hours, days, or even weeks, day and night for local families.
