Young people deserve the best possible start in life. But Tower Hamlets has the highest rate of child poverty in the country (source: UK Government 2026) and local children need our help. Schools do what they can, but with limited budgets, so often it’s things like music that get cut in favour of maths and English, despite its proven impact in boosting confidence and building communication skills.

We are on a mission to connect young people in East London through music. With 35 years’ experience in delivering youth music, we’re now working with schools and youth centres to create more musical opportunities, including a termly Big Sing, which brings together over 1,000 children from across the borough; our weekly, free-access youth singing group New YVC; and our new Nurture programme, directly supporting young people with SEND / SEMH needs. ‘ The choir gives me a sense of belonging’.
