Zambia has one of the youngest populations in the world, with over 65% of its population under the age of 25 years. Yet they face significant challenges with high unemployment, and over 3 million young people Not in Education, Employment or Training - young women especially face additional barriers. With limited access to learning key skills, many young people are trapped in a cycle poverty with few ways out. This is holding back entire generations of Zambian youth.

Zambia's construction sector needs more workers, and can provide many opportunities for trained young people. We support young people to work their way out of poverty through high-quality construction vocational training. Our training provides men and women with practical skills, work experience, career development and life-skills. Trainees gain the knowledge, confidence and resilience needed to secure work, earn higher incomes, build brighter futures and escape a life of poverty.
