At ELHAP, disabled children discover friendship, confidence and freedom through adventurous play. For 50 years we’ve created life-changing play opportunities. Help us maintain and enhance our magical and unique woodland playground so children can continue to play, thrive and make lasting memories.

Disabled children and young people face significant barriers to play, friendship and belonging. Accessible outdoor spaces are scarce, specialist provision is overstretched, and families often struggle to find safe, inclusive activities. Without opportunities for adventurous play and connection with nature, children can become isolated, missing out on experiences that build confidence, independence, wellbeing and resilience.
ELHAP provides opportunities for disabled children through holiday and Saturday playschemes, Stay & Play sessions, family and sibling days and school visits. Supported by Playworkers, children build confidence, friendships and independence through adventurous play, and families gain vital respite. To support our services, our playground must remain safe, accessible and full of magic. By maintaining and enhancing it, we keep play exciting, inclusive and shaped by children’s imaginations.
